Part 3 – Things to Collect for Creative Journaling

Getting ready to decorate the cover of my list journal.
Start collecting things to put in you journals, this is a list of the kinds of things you could use. Of course it totally depends on your theme. You can find things as you need them, you don’t have to collect all of it at once. You can use all kinds of stuff, anything that is relatively flat and will fit in your journal, be creative:
Seed packets
Your own drawings and paintings, even the ugly ones which you can cut apart
Product labels, candy wrappers, cereal boxes, etc.
Magazine images, faces, figures, blocks of color, etc.
Old books that you can cut up or photo copy
Maps
Quotes
Song lyrics
Down loaded images
Coffee filters, tea bags (rinsed and dried)
Ribbons, lace
Yarn, thread
Fabric scraps
Ticket stubs
Brochures, junk mail
Newspapers
Recipes
Shopping receipts
Coupons
Food labels
Paint swatches
Magazine/newspaper articles
Wrapping paper
Gift tags
Feathers
Pressed leaves
Color wheel/charts
Et cetera, et cetera.
